Dan Muckala has been a Word writer since November 2002. He grew up playing classical music and studied jazz. Muckala came to Nashville in 1990 to attend Belmont University, not get into the music business. When he was younger he thought that he would play piano, but soon after moving to Nashville, he realized that piano was not his calling. He soon fell in love with songs and began songwriting. He has been writing songs for over ten years now and is now developing his producing talents; along with other talents, working with recording artists like Mandy Moore and 'N Sync.
