Hard-hitting Atlantic Records / Hear It Loud band WE AS HUMAN sets release date
Nashville, Tenn. – After their discovery by Skillet lead singer John Cooper and subsequent signing to Atlantic/Word Records via Hear It Loud, a partnership helmed by Cooper, manager Zach Kelm and attorney Todd Rubenstein in 2011, the hard-hitting breakthrough rock band We As Human is set to release their eponymously named debut album on June 25. Recorded in Los Angeles under the direction of esteemed producer Howard Benson (Skillet, Three Days Grace, My Chemical Romance), the ten-track We As Human marks the first full-length album offering from the Nashville band.
Following a rigorous tour schedule since their initial signing, including appearances on the “Awake and Alive” Tour with Skillet and Winter Jam 2012, the 5-piece band is eager to showcase the sound that has been making waves in the world of rock. Comprised of lead singer Justin Cordle and band members Jake Jones, Justin Forshaw, Adam Osborne and Dave Draggoo, the new music by We As Human stays true to their core appeal, yet add levels of energy and intensity that will take even the most jaded listeners by storm.
In addition to ten new tracks, We As Human features special appearances from John Cooper of Skillet and Lacey Sturm of Flyleaf. Fans of We As Human can get a preview of some of the tracks off of the new album, with singles “Strike Back” and “We Fall Apart” going for adds on April 26 at Rock and CHR/Hot AC Radio respectively. The single “Strike Back” is already getting early adds at Rock Radio and is available now to stream on the band’s website at www.weashuman.com.
Continuing to establish their name among other rock artists, We As Human will appear on the “Release The Panic” Tour with RED & Southbound Fearing starting this week. The 22-city trek will give fans a chance to see the sonically thrilling live experience by We As Human as well as a live peek at their upcoming album.
