One Truth

One Truth was a Contemporary Christian Rock Band that formed in 1972 in Arcadia, California. Founded by brothers Randy and Terry Butler, the band played for nearly 12 years in churches, school, universities and festivals. They released one album independently before being signed to Greentree Records in 1977. The band released two records on Greentree, titled Gospel Truth and Playing for Keeps. During the early eighties, the band changed their name to Ipso Facto and released one EP. After the band parted ways, keyboard player Smitty Price went on to become an in-demand studio keyboard player and arranger.
