Craig Smith has written and recorded eleven album projects with major record labels and has had several national top ten singles. He was nominated for the Dove award in the Best Worship album category in 1988 and named Sesac's Inspirational Songwriter of the Year. He has recorded and written with many Christian artists through the years including Brian Doerksen, Paul Baloche, Don Moen, Israel Houghton, Twila Paris, John Michael Talbot, Paul Smith, Robin Mark, and Paul Wilber.
Though he has had years of traveling in ministry, he has always been firmly rooted in a local church which he feels should be a requirement for any music ministry. Craig and his wife Dianna have just begun their tenth year pastoring in the very church which they have home based for almost two decades in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Craig is also the founder of Village2Village, a non-profit organization whose vision and mission is to inspire and build cultures of hope through Christ for under-supported children. The process for accomplishing this vision is the establishment of campuses called Hope Village.
