Capital Kings was a pop, EDM, and Christian pop act. In addition to their own work, they came to fame remixing on some of the industry's most acclaimed artists' records, including TobyMac (EYE ON IT, Dubbed & Freq'd), Group 1 Crew (Fearless), Mandisa (Remixed: Get Movin') and Britt Nicole (Gold). Their smash debut, Capital Kings, follows up the release of their fall EP, I Feel So Alive. The debut record includes an impressive list of guest artists with TobyMac, Britt Nicole, Royal Tailor, and Soul Glow Activatur of Family Force 5. The duo opened on the West Coast run of the 2012 Winter Jam Tour and continues to impact arenas across the country on the East Coast run of the 2013 Winter Jam Tour.
The group went on indefinite hiatus on January 3, 2018.

The awards show will take place on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at Allen Arena on the campus of Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN at 7:30pm CT. The show will be broadcast on Monday, October 21st at 8:00ET exclusively on the UP! Television Network. Voting for the final winners will run from September 3rd through September 24th.
