Canton Junction unveils "Every Hallelujah" August 7
NASHVILLE, Tenn.—Every Hallelujah, the highly anticipated new Difference Media recording from Dove Award and Singing News Fan Award-winning quartet Canton Junction, will be available at retail and digital outlets everywhere August 7. Produced by award-winning musician Garry Jones, Every Hallelujah marks the first recording to feature new members Casey Rivers (lead) and Ryan Seaton (baritone), as they join founding members Matthew Hagee and Tim Duncan on 13 powerful selections.
“Ryan’s traditional quartet stylings and Casey’s contemporary country sound have allowed us to take a fresh approach to who we are as Canton Junction,” said Hagee. “I believe that Every Hallelujah captures who we are as a quartet, and clearly communicates the message of Hope and encouragement we want to share with listeners.”
Led by the soaring first single “Weep No More”—also heard in the hit box office release Four Blood Moons—Every Hallelujah features contributions from many of Gospel music’s finest songwriters, including Kenna West, Sue C. Smith, Lee Black, Ben Storie and Ronny Hinson, among others. Along with Rivers’ passionate performance of “Weep No More,” the project is highlighted by Seaton’s Big Band-tinged rendering of “The King And I”; Duncan’s joy-filled “I Need A Little More Jesus”; and “Living For Heaven,” a song about eternal perspective that is especially meaningful to Hagee.
Since their debut in 2012, Canton Junction has quickly become one of southern gospel music’s most sought-after quartets. The self-titled Canton Junction featured the #1 singles “Hold On” and “Sweeter As The Days Go By,” and garnered a 2013 GMA Dove Award for Southern Gospel Album of the Year. Last year, the group received the Singing News Fan Award for Favorite Southern Gospel New Traditional Quartet.
