Andrew Horrocks is the owner and operator of A.M.E. Recording Studio in Kitchener Ontario Canada. A.M.E. was built from the ground up with music in mind. It offers full music production, recording, mixing, mastering, and composing and it has been in operation for over 20 years. Over those years Andrew has contributed to the landscape of Canadian Christian music having produced CDs for artists like Thousand Foot Krutch, Ali Matthews, Jody Cross, Miranda Stone, Mary Simon, Stephanie Israelson, Chris Bray, Mike Fluit, Andy Taylor, Gary Sharpe, Luke Langman, Geoff Dresser, Scott Towaij, Karla Drader, Lost Coin, and Vineyard Canada. The 2007 and 2010 Covenant awards provided career highlights for Andrew when Stephanie Israelson and Andrew won the “Inspirational song of the year” with their song “Come to the Cross”. Since 2007, Andrew has been nominated for “Producer of the Year” every year at the Covenant Awards. He has won it on 3 occasions. Andrew was a signed recording artist from 1987 to 2001, understanding the creative realm as well as the world of engineering. In 1987, Andrew’s band “The Awakening” recorded the first of three internationally released albums. Then with longtime songwriting partner Ian Tanner, another four albums were released to a worldwide audience through the band One Hundred Days.
