People Of The Earth got its start in 2005 in Somerset, KY when Dustin Fenison founded the band that includes additional members, Patrick Ford (drums) and Stephen Hampton (guitar). The group began playing locally and rapidly built a loyal following that led to performances at camps, conferences, festivals and worship events. At the same time, People Of The Earth started sharing stages with such high-profile artists as Casting Crowns, Switchfoot and Newsboys. The band’s first national recognition came in 2013 when the group recorded a song for the Praise and Arrows compilation album. That led to a meeting with producer Aaron Rice, which began the journey for We Are People Of The Earth. All members of the band still live in their hometown of Somerset and lead worship at their respective churches.
