LordSong was formed in January of 2000 in Spartanburg, South Carolina, USA. The line-up changed some through the years but all 3 member of the group Sisters, Kim Ruppe Sheffield, Heather Ruppe Bennett & Valerie Ruppe Medkiff, were members of the group at one time or another, and all three were also members of the group The Ruppes.
