The Goodman musical legacy started in the 1950s with The Happy Goodman Family band. Over the years, various members of the family have lifted up their voices to sing praises to the Lord with tender affections and sincere entusiasm. The latest installment to this rich heritage is the newly formed Goodman Revival, which includes Tanya Goodman Sykes, Michael Sykes, a former band member of the Happy Goodmans' band and longtime Happy Goodmans member Johnny Minick.
