How To Use ccmExchange

The ccmExchange at Christian Music Archive is your place to buy, sell, and trade your favorite Christian music with other fans from around the country.
Currently the ccmExchange is only available to people in the United States.
Membership is free! All you need is a valid email address, a valid United States mailing address, and an active PayPal account (also free).


 

There are no listing fees and no cost to list records and CDs for sale or trade.
The cost to request an album in trade is 50¢ and one 1© ccmExchange coin.
You pay shipping costs to ship an album to a person for trade.
The cost to sell an album is 8% of the total transaction fee (sale price + shipping costs). These fees are paid via PayPal to Christian Music Archive on a monthly basis.
The cost to buy an album and appropriate shipping costs are set by the seller. You as buyer will pay those fees directly to the seller.

You will need:
- A unique user ID
- A valid email address
- Full Name
- Valid USPS Mailing Address


 

To list an album for sale or trade, simply navigate to the album on Christian Music Archive using the search box on the front page, clicking on the Artists tab at the top of the page, or typing in the artist’s URL directly.
Find the album you would like to list and decide if you want to trade or sell the album. Click List Trade to designate the album as available to trade with another fan. Click Sell Now to list the album as available for purchase.
To list to trade, designate the Format and Condition from the drop down menus, and agree to the Confirmation notice.
To sell an album, designate the Format and Condition from the drop down menus, set your sale price, and agree to the Confirmation notice.
On your profile page under the My Library tab you can see a list of all the albums you have posted for sale and trade. Here you can also choose to delete a title by clicking on the trash can under the album picture. This will remove the album from the ccmExchange.
If you are going to be unable to fulfill orders in a timely manner for any reason, you can temporarily put your Library on Vacation Hold. This will temporarily remove all your albums from the ccmExchange until you return and remove the Vacation Hold.


 

When an album is available for trade from another user, you will be able to request a trade by clicking the green Order Trade button.
The system will let you know if you have enough © coins and / or bank to complete your trade. If you don’t, you will be given the opportunity to add to your balance by purchasing additional coins from the ccmExchange.
Here you can choose which user to order the album from and they will be notified of your request.
If the album you want is not available in the ccmExchange, you can add it to your wish list by clicking the grey Wish to trade button. When another user posts the album in the ccmExchange, you will be notified so you can request the trade.
To see a list of all your trades and wish lists, go to your profile and click the My Orders or My Orders tabs.


 

Trading albums on the ccmExchange require 1© coin and 50¢.
You earn © coins by:
- 1© for every successful trade you complete
- 1© for each of the first 10 albums you list for trade on the ccmExchange
- You can purchase additional © from the ccmExchange directly You also pay 50¢ to the ccmExchange for each trade. You can add to your Bank Balance by click here.
A list of all your financial transactions are available on your profile under the Balance Transactions and Coins Transactions tabs
The PayPal Account tab is where you enter your personal PayPal account email address. This enables you to purchase additional © coins, add to your bank balance, and receive money from other buyers who purchase the albums you list for sale on the ccmExchange.


 

When an album is available for purchase from another user, you will be able to request the album by clicking the orange Buy Now button.
Once you choose the price you are willing to pay, the system will send notification to the seller asking them to confirm availability and set the shipping costs to you.
When you receive confirmation, you will send payment to the seller using PayPal through our system. And when payment is received, the seller will sent the album back to you.
If the album you want is not available in the ccmExchange, you can add it to your wish list by clicking the grey Wish to buy button. When another user posts the album in the ccmExchange, you will be notified so you can request the purchase.
To see a list of all your purchases and wish lists, go to your profile and click the My Orders or My Wishlist tabs


 

At the end of each month, you will pay the ccmExchange an 8% commission for all transactions completed during that month. The 8% fee covers the purchase and shipping costs.
On your profile, you can click the Commissions tab and push the Pay Commissions button to send payment for your monthly sales utilizing PayPal. You have 15 days to pay your sales commissions. If payment is not received, your Library will be temporarily removed from the ccmExchange until you can make arrangements for payment.


 

You can customize your profile by telling a bit about yourself, posting an appropriate picture, and telling other Christian Music Archive users what your favorite artists, genres, and decades of music are. We encourage everyone to fill this out, because this helps us get to know each other a bit better.
Your profile also displays your User Rating, which is set by the ccmExchange based on the successful completion of sales and trade transactions.
