Love Coma was a Christian rock/alternative group in the early 1990s based in the San Antonio / Austio Texas area. They played rock in the style of The Seventy Sevens.

Chris Taylor formed the band in 1992 and became a pseudo famous garage band that toured and travelled all over the United States and beyond. Chris wrote all the songs and Chris Dodds, Matt Slocum, Jeff Duncan and Chris Mattingly shaped them into wild rock n roll abandon. The band broke up in 1997 but remained friends. In 2009, Taylor announced the reformation of the band on his Facebook page, stating, "we're rediscovering our old songs, starting from scratch, taking our time, getting it right."

Love Coma may be best known for its two well-known members: Matt Slocum of Sixpence None the Richer, and Chris Taylor, who went on to be a solo artist.
